In the midst of Khloé Kardashian and Tristan Thompson’s cheating scandal 2.0, Khloé has had one very fierce defender on social media: her best friend Malika Haqq. Among other things, Malika straight-up called Jordyn Woods, who Tristan Thompson allegedly cheated with, an “unloyal ho” in public Instagram comments.

She’s an L.A. native.
Malika was born in Los Angeles on March 10, 1983, which means she’s a Pisces. If you believe in astrology—which you definitely should, btw—that means she’s emotional, touchy-feely, sensitive, indecisive, and impulsive. Yep, checks out. According to Iranian.com, her parents immigrated from the Khuzestan Province in Iran. Cool!
Oh, and she’s a twin!
Malika has a twin named Khadijah, who’s been on tons of episodes of KUWTK, so you probably already knew that.
She and Khloé go waaay back.
Malika and Khloé have been friends since they were 15, which means they’ve been going strong for almost 20 years. Khloé said they met because Malika was dating one of her best guy friends.
“Malika was dating one of my male best friends. He would always keep us apart because I am sure he knew we would just hit it off,” she wrote on her blog. “One day we met and we did. Malika and Khadijah have been my best friends ever since.”

She may or may not have dated Ronnie from The Jersey Shore.
And she had a VERY brief fling with Rob Kardashian once. IDK.
She’s pregnant with her first child.
Malika is expecting her first child with her ex O.T. Genasis, which she announced via a sponcon post for a pregnancy test brand. A couple of months later, she announced she’s having a boy in yet another sponcon post, which had her followers commenting things like, “Your whole pregnancy just gone be one big ass ad.”
Hey, as long as she and her baby are happy and she can put a roof over their heads!
She was Khloé’s assistant for a hot sec.
At one point in time, Malika was not only Khloé’s best friend but her assistant too. It didn’t last long, though, because Malika wanted to get back into modeling, which was her main focus at the time.
This video is from 2015 and Malika technically quit being Khloé’s assistant in 2012, but old habits die hard, apparently.
Now she’s mainly focusing on her acting and modeling.
Malika has a handful of acting credits under her belt, but her most notable role was probably when she played Penny in the 2005 superhero comedy Sky High.

She and Khloé have collabed on projects before.
In late 2018, Khloé and Malika announced that they partnered together to create a collection for Becca Cosmetics. Their Becca BFF collection dropped in December.
Khloé is fiercely protective of their friendship.
Way back in August, someone decided to come for Malika in her own Instagram comments, writing on a picture, “GIRL BYE!!!!! If it wasn’t for Khloé you would be a nobody...wait who are you again 🤔🤔🤔🤔.”
And Khloé happened to see that, so she responded, “We are all entitled to our own opinions. And yes, love, you may have yours. But no need to be cruel when life is negative enough. But if it wasn’t for Malika then who knows where I would be emotionally. She’s been my BFF since we were children. Loyalty and love means more to me than anything else ever could. Fame is fleeting. Malika is not.”
