Hyderabad will remain peaceful, assures Telangana home minister

HYDERABAD: Telangana home minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali said people should maintain peace and harmony as Ayodhya verdict is expected soon.
He said everybody should abide by the Supreme Court judgement. Representatives from Seerath-un-Nabi Academy, Jamat Islami and other organisations met the minister and said the apex court is likely to pronounce its verdict soon and expressed apprehensions as some disgruntled elements could take advantage of the situation and disrupt peace, law and order.
“I have assured them that the state, especially Hyderabad, will remain peaceful irrespective of the court verdict. I appeal to the people to maintain peace and harmony,” Mahmood told TOI.
