Bell Bottom first look: Akshay Kumar set to take you on ‘a roller-coaster spy ride’

Bell Bottom, directed by Ranjit M Tewari, will go on floors mid next year and will release on January 22, 2021.

Bell Bottom is a spy film inspired by true events.

After delivering back-to-back hits with Mission Mangal, Kesari and Housefull 4, Akshay Kumar is all set to impress his audience with a spy film titled Bell Bottom. On Sunday, the actor took to his Twitter account to share the first look of the film.

In the poster, we see Akshay all suited-booted. While the actor is leaning on a car, we see a plane above him. While details about the film are awaited, Khiladi Kumar promised the movie is going to be a roller coaster ride.

“Get ready to go back to the 80’s and hop onto a roller-coaster spy ride, #BELLBOTTOM! Releasing on 22nd January, 2021,” he tweeted.

In response to a Twitter user who enquired if the film is a remake of a Kannada film, Akshay replied, “#BellBottom is not a remake of any film. It is an original screenplay inspired by true events.”

Bell Bottom marks the first collaboration between Akshay Kumar and producer Vashu Bhagnani. The film is produced by Pooja Entertainment in association with Emmay Entertainment.
