Dimapur, Nov. 11 (EMN): The Deputy Chief Minister and BJP leader Y Patton has expressed his anguish over the untimely demise of his “long-cherished friend” Ezanimo Lotha of Lakhuti village, who passed away in Naga Hospital Kohima on November 11.

Patton stated through a condolence message issued on Monday that the deceased had given “the best of his life time in the service of the people until his retirement as joint development commissioner, government of Nagaland.” Recalling their college days together in Shillong, he described Lotha as “a man of simplicity, straight forward, very honest and kind-hearted person.” He said that his untimely demise had caused a huge loss not only to his village and the Lothas but also to the Nagas as a whole.

‘At this hour of grief and sorrow, Patton along with his family conveyed heartfelt condolences to Mrs. Helen and the bereaved family members and prayed to Almighty God to grant them comfort so as to bear the loss in fortitude and also prayed that the departed soul rest in eternal peace,’ read the condolence message.
