A private bank deputy manager, who’s the son of a former IAS officer, hanged himself at his Domlur flat on Saturday. His body was found on Sunday morning.

BENGALURU: A private bank deputy manager, who’s the son of a former IAS officer, hanged himself at his Domlur flat on Saturday. His body was found on Sunday morning.
The victim is Rohit Singh, 27, son of Harendra Singh who was personal secretary and adviser to a former chief minister of Jharkhand. Rohit was living in Bengaluru for the last three years while his family stays in Ranchi.

Police said he attended a party with three friends on Friday and returned to his flat. When he did not pick up calls on Saturday, his friends rushed to his apartment on Sunday and found it locked. They alerted the building owner and broke open the door to find his body. They said he was depressed and did not mingle with colleagues or friends.
