Telangana road mishap deaths: Two convicted

HYDERABAD: Two persons have been convicted by a local court in connection with two separate road mishaps in Shadnagar.
One of the accused is a Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) driver. The RTC driver, P Krishnaiah Goud, was handed a punishment of two-year imprisonment and a fine of 1,000 for an incident which occurred in May 2017. The accident had resulted in the death of 35-year-old Jangaiah.The accused had rammed into the victims bike from behind which resulted in his death.
In the other case, a car driver P Praveen Kumar Reddy was sentenced to jail for one year in connection with a mishap that occurred in October, 2016. Praveen had hit a biker, Srinivas, who died as a result of head injuries.
