Virat Kohli will be leading India in the upcoming 2-match series against Bangladesh. India will take on the visitors in Indore from Thursday after which the 2 teams will play the 2nd Test under lights from November 22 in Kolkata.

In a bid to prepare for the historic day-night Test, India players will train under lights ahead of the 1st Test in Indore. The India team management had requested Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association to allow them to train in the evening session.

Kohli did not feature in the 3-match T20I series against Bangladesh. The India skipper was rested and he spent the time away from the game with his wife and Bollywood actor Anushka Sharma. The celebrity couple spent their holiday in Bhutan. Both Kohli and Anushka made sure they kept the fans posted with some stunning photos from their trip.

In the absence of Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma led India to a 2-1 series win over Bangladesh in the T20I series. India had to come back from behind after losing the series opener in Delhi.

In the tense series finale, Bangladesh were on course towards achieving 175-run target before Deepak Chahar and Shivam Dube triggered a collapse. While Dubey picked up 2 wickets, Chahar scripted the best-ever bowling figures in T20I cricket (7/7) while picking up a hat-trick.
