The owner of a cyber cafe from Andhra Pradesh was arrested for duping a financial firm based out of Andheri East. SV Jinka was arrested from Guntur and produced before a holiday court at Bandra on Sunday. His associate is wanted.

MUMBAI: The owner of a cyber cafe from Andhra Pradesh was arrested for duping a financial firm based out of Andheri East. SV Jinka was arrested from Guntur and produced before a holiday court at Bandra on Sunday. His associate is wanted.
The financial firm gives out short-term loans online. The loans are interest-free if the amount is repaid within 15 days.
"Jinka also ran an agency in Guntur to help individuals get Aadhar cards and Pan cards made.
Jinka and his associate created email addresses in the names of 58 clients. The duo also submitted their clients' identity proofs to get mobile Sim cards," said police officer
They used the fake email addresses of clients to apply for loans. Once the loans were disbursed, Jinka and his associate splurged the money on shopping and never repaid the firm. After being conned of Rs 1.5 lakh, the firm registered a complaint with MIDC police.
