Four teenagers have been wounded after a stabbing outside a leisure centre in Greater Manchester.

Police say they were called to the leisure centre in Oldham around 4.30pm this afternoon.

Greater Manchester Police said four teenage boys aged between 16 and 19 were hurt, but their injuries are not believed life-threatening, reports the Manchester Evening News.

No further details about the incident have so far been released.

Emergency services remain at the scene and the area around the leisure centre, but the cordon has since been lifted.

Earlier there were reports of traffic problems in the area as a result of the incident. 

The cordon was on the large concourse at the front of the leisure centre.

Centre users can still access the facility from the side entrance off the car park, and it has not been closed to the public while police investigate the incident nearby.
