Festive offer

Agarwal is currently holding the additional charge of municipal commissioner Sourabh Rao, who is undergoing training.

The PSCDCL had received funding of Rs 200 crore from the Union government in the first phase, and Rs 100 crore each from the state government and PMC.

In 2014, the extension of Jagtap’s deputation in PMC had created controversy, with the Shiv Sena demanding his transfer, citing completion of three years in the post.

His brother, Sanjay Jagtap, is a district Congress chief and was recently elected to the Assembly after defeating senior Shiv Sena leader and minister Vijay Shivtare.

His brother-in-law Vishwajeet Kadam, son of late Congress leader Patangrao Kadam, has also been elected to the Assembly.
