Sewage issues spreading diseases

In street number 12 of Guru Nanak Nagar, MBS Nagar, there is a 40-year-old building. Nobody has repaired the premises in these few decades and because of old sewage lines, dirty water keeps overflowing in the street. Its toxic smell has been spreading diseases for a long time. Children are unable to play in the filthy mess and frequently fall ill. The residents have filed complaints with the municipal councillor a lot of times but the situation hasn't been rectified.People have even visited the MLA office, and complained to the owner of the building. There is no response from any authority.
