TRUSSVILLE — Trussville Fire and Rescue is asking for donations for the Christmas for Kids program.
The program is designed to help those in need provide gifts to their children this Christmas, according to Fire Chief Tim Shotts.
“While we are always challenged by the monumental task at hand, we know that without you, our neighbors, none of this would be possible,” said Shotts.
The toys will be given to children in the Trussville community.
You can drop off new, unwrapped gifts at any Trussville Fire Station.
If you would like to make a monetary donation, mail your check to Trussville Fire and Rescue, 421 Cherokee Drive, Trussville, AL 35173 with Attn: Christmas for Kids donation. The donation will be tax-deductible. 100% of donations go directly to families in need with no money going to administrative costs.
The Trussville Fire Department is asking for all donations to be made by Friday, Dec. 13, 2019.
Email cfktrussville@gmail.com with any questions or for more information.
“On behalf of the Trussville Fire and Rescue and less fortunate within our community, thank you for your help! May you have a blessed holiday season,” said Shotts.
