Over 100 cadets of the National Cadet Corps (NCC) from Tamil Nadu are expected to participate in a national camp at Langat Singh College-Muzaffarpur from November 18 to 29.

MUZAFFARPUR: Over 100 cadets of the National Cadet Corps (NCC) from Tamil Nadu are expected to participate in a national camp at Langat Singh College-Muzaffarpur from November 18 to 29.
According to NCC group commander Colonel Pankaj Kumar Singh, several ministers will also take part in the 10-day programme being organized in association with the state youth, art and culture department.
“Altogether 600 cadets from Bihar and Tamil Nadu will attend the camp, which will be organized under the ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’ programme of the Centre.
They will learn about the cultural, historical, religious and linguistic diversity of the two states. This will help strengthen national integrity,” the group commander told this newspaper on Saturday.
Meanwhile, a group of cadets from seven districts has started a cycle rally from Darbhanga to make people aware about various social issues.
Lieutenant Colonel Manmohan Thakur of the 32nd Bihar Battalion of NCC said, “They will visit Darbhanga, Sitamarhi and East and West Champaran before returning to Muzaffaprur. They are spreading awareness about acute encephalitis syndrome, sanitation and other important issues among the people.”
