The brand new series of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here kicked off last night and it was delivering the LOLs within minutes.

The celebs hadn't even made it to camp before Twitter erupted with tweets about the terrifying challenges (walking along a plank suspended 334 feet in the air? It's a no from me!). Tons of viewers also flocked to Twitter to ask this same question - what the heck happened to Dec Donnelly's arm?

Fans of the show noticed the I'm A Celeb host had a painful-looking red mark on his forearm as he spoke to the contestants about their pre-camp challenges.

"Dec- what have you done to your arm? Looks like a nasty injury," one viewer tweeted. Another wrote: "Sod the task, what has Dec done to his arm?"

After catching wind of the worried tweets, Dec responded during an ad break, explaining he accidentally "scalded" himself.

He wrote: "Nothing exciting unfortunately. I scalded myself while sterilising Isla’s dummies," and added a face palm emoji and a crying laughing emoji. That clears that up then!

Dec and wife Ali Astall, who married in August 2015, welcomed daughter Isla in September of last year.

Meanwhile, fans were thrilled to see their favourite TV duo finally back together after Ant took a year out, and the pair didn't waste any time before addressing his absence and rattling off their trademark jokes.

Introducing the show, Dec announced: "We're back, he's back, we're all back, back back!"

Moments later, Ant declared: "I'm A Celebrity 2019 can only have one winner."

Referring to Caitlyn Jenner's rumoured £500,000 fee, Dec said: "Caitlyn Jenner's agent by the sound of it."

Ant added: "OK so two winners. Time to meet our first celeb, someone who always does the right thing, is a right laugh and is made of the right stuff. It's..."

Dec then interrupted, joking that it's "Kate Garrway", to which Ant hilariously fired back, "It's Ian Wright. I have had a year off, what is your excuse?"

We're obsessed already!
