The first episode of ITV's I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here aired last night and it's one hell of a line-up.

With Girls Aloud's Nadine Coyle winding up in the jungle alongside Capital Radio presenter Roman Kemp and the one and only Caitlyn Jenner, it's a collection of people we just never expected we'd see even cross paths, let alone actually live together.

With the show airing every night for the next three weeks, we've got a whole load of drama to look forward to. Here's hoping we get to see Caitlyn Jenner eat at least one live creature.

So, with I'm A Celeb well and truly underway, everyone is inevitably dying to know how much the contestants are getting paid to appear on the show. Because, let's be honest, if you're going to willingly enter dark confined spaces filled with rats and snakes, you're going to be wanting a hefty sum.

Caitlyn Jenner is reportedly raking in the most money for her stint in the jungle, earning a rumoured £500,000, which is one of the highest figures a contestant has ever been paid.

However, hosts Ant and Dec suggested the rumoured fee might not be 100% correct during a joke at the start of the show.

Introducing the contestants, Dec said, "We’ve got reality TV royalty Caitlyn Jenner. Most people come into the jungle to lose a few pounds," while Ant added, "But she’s going to be gaining 500,000 of them according to the papers."

Dec then responded, telling Ant, "Don't believe everything you read in the papers, Ant. You know that," suggesting that Caitlyn might not be earning quite so much.

Ant and Dec continued the joke, saying, "I'm A Celebrity 2019 can only have one winner. Caitlyn Jenner's agent by the sound of it."

Footballer Ian Wright is said to be close behind Caitlyn Jenner, reportedly being paid £400,000 for his appearance on the show. However, last year's winner Harry Redknapp accidentally told an audience during an event in Nottingham that Ian Wright was getting a whopping £1 million.

Nadine Coyle is said to be earning £250,000 to enter the jungle, with journalist Kate Garraway and soap star Jacqueline Jossa getting £75,000, while rugby player James Haskell and DJ Adele Roberts are believed to be receiving £50,000 each.

Roman Kemp is rumoured to be getting £40,000, while Rak-Su singer Myles Stephenson is reportedly earning the least, bringing in £25,000.

Whatever the I'm A Celeb contestants are earning, it's safe to say we wouldn't mind a bit of the cash. And even if the participants don't make it very far it seems like they won't be missing out on the cash, with Gemma Collins reportedly still getting paid in full after quitting just three days in to I'm A Celeb 2014.

So everyone's a winner, really.
