Shaji Ul Mulk, Chairman of the Aldar Properties Abu Dhabi T10 League announced that the Karnataka Tuskers team has come under new ownership.
Shaji Ul Mulk said that Krishan Chowdhary, a businessman and Bollywood producer has come on board as the new owner of the franchise. "We are very pleased to announce Krishan Chowdhary as the new owner for the Karnataka Tuskers team," Shaji Ul Mulk said on Monday.
"The ex-owner was under some investigation so we have a zero tolerance policy as far as the League is concerned. We simply will not tolerate that. The team ownership was taken by the League and it so happened that we found a new owner in Krishan Chowdhary," he added.
Meanwhile, Chowdhary was delighted to join the League.
"We are thankful for the opportunity to get involved with the T10 League.
"Winning and losing is part of the game. We hope that the team will win the next game," said Chowdhary.,
The Tuskers have lost two matches so far, to the Bangla Tiger and the Deccan Gladiators in Group A. Their only win came against the Delhi Bulls.
