Tanhaji first look: Kajol as Savitribai Malusare reminds us of her wedding look

Makers of Ajay Devgn and Kajol-starrer period drama Tanhaji, which will release in January 2020, recently released a poster of the Fanaa actor. Kajol and Devgn too shared the same on social media with Devgn captioning it as, “Savitribai Malusare – Tanhaji ke saahas ka sahara… aur unke bal ki shakti,” Devgn wrote.

In the picture, the actor can be seen decked up in traditional Maharashtrian attire, and seems to be wearing a nauvari sari. The look has been accessorised with Maharashtrian nath, a simple neckpiece and studs; and rounded out with bindi and dark kohl eyes.

You may call it a stretch, but the picture reminded us a lot of the actor’s wedding photos. In the photos she can seen wearing a green sari with golden border. The look was accessorised in a similar way with a statement neckpiece and a Maharashtrian nath.

The actor does a commendable job in carrying off a sari and there are enough instances to back that up. During Durga Puja celebrations this year, the actor was spotted in traditional wear on many occasions and looked lovely in all the looks. But there was one look that stood out among the rest. We really liked her in the Raw Mango sari she wore. Styled by Radhika Mehra, the ‘Haveri’ yellow Mashru sari was paired with ‘Ruhi’ gota silk blouse. The look was accessorised with gold earrings, and made for a perfect festive wear.

‘Sufficient material’: Delhi court frames sexual harassment charges against Brij Bhushan

A Delhi court on Friday framed charges against BJP leader Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh in connection with the case of sexual harassment of five female wrestlers. Stating that there was sufficient material to frame charges against Bhushan, the Rouse Avenue Court charged him with offences of outraging the modesty of a woman and sexual harassment against five of the victims.
