New Delhi: The luxury housing segment in the National Capital Region has started focusing on providing clean air to the residents, as air quality often reaches the “hazardous” category. Besides offering plenty of green spaces, some developers are installing centralised air purifier systems for fresh indoor air.
DLF has installed TFAs (treated fresh air units) to improve indoor air quality in the developer’s latest residential offering in the luxury segment — The Camellias in DLF5’s, one of the costliest residential areas in the country.
“This will allow fresh air from outside into the indoor space to maintain premium air quality as well as the desired temperature,” said a company executive.
The project has 429 units, ranging from 7,350 sq ft to 16,000 sq ft. The price, according to people in the know, goes up to Rs 64 crore per unit.
Hong Kong-based Risland’s first residential project in South Delhi’s Chattarpur, Sky Mansion, will have a system to filter the indoor air.
