Goa: Rajinikanth gets 'Icon of Golden Jubilee' award at IFFI

The 50th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) honoured actor turned politician Rajinikanth with a special Icon of Golden Jubilee award. Earlier responding to the news, the 68-year-old took to Twitter to express gratitude. He said in his tweet: I thank the government of India for this prestigious honour bestowed upon me on the golden jubilee of the International film festival of India #IFFI2019. Information and Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javadekar, Amitabh Bachchan and other eminent personalities were present during the award ceremony.
