According to the latest reports, Todd Phillips has got the rights for at least one other DC story.
And as the film crossed $ 1 billion at the box office, the director is in talks to reprise his role in the sequel of the film. Reportedly, he and Scott Silver, who also wrote the screenplay for 'Joker' will write the follow-up story. It is also being reported that, he pitched the idea - rights to develop a portfolio of DC characters' origin stories to Warner Bros. Pictures Group chairman Toby Emmerich.
