If you’re a big fan of the Christmas movie, Elf, here’s your chance to indulge in papercut snowflakes and candy coated spaghetti with a stay in New York City.

For the 2019 holiday season, Club Wyndham has decorated a one-bedroom suite at its Wyndham Midtown 45 at New York City property based upon the 2003 movie starring Will Ferrell. It can accommodate up to four guests, and kids of all ages can stay here.

“Every detail of this Elf-inspired suite was designed to put families in awe from the moment they walk in,” said Noah Brodsky, chief brand officer for Wyndham Destinations, in a media statement. “Visiting New York City during the holidays is at the top of many travelers’ bucket list, and Club Wyndham wants to help our owners check that list off in a spectacular way. We think there’s no better way to do it than to get families immersed into Buddy the Elf’s whimsical Christmas world.”

While guests probably won’t carry out the complete antics of Buddy the Elf - as in putting cookies in the VCR – they can partake in one of his on-screen habits. They can try his sweet diet.

A Buddy the Elf-themed meal can be whipped up in the kitchen, with on-hand ingredients including spaghetti, marshmallows, chocolate sauce, Pop-Tarts, rolls of cookie dough, M&Ms and liters of soda. So go ahead and feast on Buddy’s four major food groups – candy, candy corn, candy canes and maple syrup.

Note: Consider having an extra tube of toothpaste on hand.

The overall decor within the Elf-inspired suite at Wyndham Midtown 45 at New York City also syncs up with the movie’s storyline.

A door dressed in an elf jacket opens up to the suite’s living and dining area; they’re filled with Buddy’s favorite holiday things.

Hundreds of paper snowflakes, popcorn and paper garlands adorn the ceiling, while a towering Christmas tree graced with golden ornaments centers the space. See a Lite Brite welcome message, jack-in-the-box toys under the tree and a colorful gift wrap mural wall complete with six-inch ribbon curls.

The Christmas cheer continues into the suite’s bedroom and bathroom, with even more paper snowflakes, garlands, festive decorations and bath “snowballs” to complete an elf-approved stay. Guests can also get to play with some of Buddy’s favorite toys, including a Lego replica of the Empire State building, Etch A Sketches and toy trains.

The Elf-inspired holiday suite is available for booking starting November 25, for stays beginning December 2. Rates begin at $399 per night, or 15,000 Wyndham Rewards points on select nights. Families that reserve the suite also get complimentary admission for up to four people to the Empire State Building and tickets to the ice skating rink at Rockefeller Center.
