Two people cut from wreckage and taken to hospital after crash on the A40 in Carmarthenshire
Two people have been taken to hospital after a crash in Carmarthenshire.
The collision happened at around 5.15pm on the westbound stretch of the A40 between Carmarthen and St Clears.
Traffic cleared on the A40
The A40 is now clear and traffic is easing.
An accident took place earlier today between St Clears Road and Llangynog turn off.

A boxer punched a pool player after his friend paid him to do it and left the man with a broken nose and eye socket.
Yassin Essa, who previously competed at the Commonwealth Games, said he agreed to punch the victim for money because he needed cash to buy drugs.
There's been an accident in Pembrokeshire
The A478 is partially blocked in both directions and there is heavy traffic due to an accident from Penblewin Roundabout to Narberth.
According to traffic monitors, recovery is en route.
Doctor suspended after 'dishonest entry' on medical records of tragic 12-year-old Ryan Morse
A doctor who made a dishonest entry in the medical notes of a 12-year-old boy who died days earlier has been suspended for nine months.
Ryan Morse died at his home in Brynithel, Blaenau Gwent , in December 2012 from undiagnosed Addison’s disease, a rare condition, after a phone conversation between his concerned mother and family GP Dr Joanne Rudling the day before.
Christmas festival closes Swansea Road
Woodfield Street is closed in both directions due to the Christmas Parade that’s taking place between Pentrepoeth Road and Morfydd Street.
There are Christmas festivities along this stretch until around 9pm.
There's been flooding in Pembrokeshire
There is flooding on the B4327 in both directions from Mullock Bridge to Dale.
Commuters are advised to approach the area with care as the road is badly flooded in a number of sections.
A40 partially blocked due to accident
The A40 Westbound is partially blocked.
There is queuing traffic due to an accident from St Clears Road to Bancyfelin.
The incident is affecting traffic travelling between Carmarthen and St Clears.
Traffic now cleared on the M4
Traffic has now cleared on the M4 Eastbound near Coryton Interchange.
There were delays earlier this afternoon as flood water was being cleared from the road.
Broken down bus blocks A487
The A487 is partially blocked in both directions and there is queuing traffic due a to broken down bus at Bontnewydd Roundabout.
A wheel is said to have fallen off the bus and emergency services are at the scene.

More hazardous driving conditions in Cardiff
It’s said there are hazardous driving conditions due to surface water on the M4.
Various speed restrictions are said to be in place in both directions from Pentwyn Link Road to Pont Abraham Roundabout.
Be careful out there.

Eight people have denied murdering a 17-year-old in Barry and are due to stand trial next year.
Nathan Delafontaine, Raymond Thompson, Leon Clifford, Lewis Evans, Leon Symons, Ryan Palmer, Peter McCarthy, and a 16-year-old boy all entered not guilty pleas.

A technical glitch at TSB bank has left scores of customers who expected payments today without the funds in their accounts.
The bank has said it is “working to process” payments after many customers woke up this morning to discover they were without cash.

One lane is blocked and traffic is queueing after the crash near the A474.
Lane two of two is blocked.
Conservatives beat Labour in Llanishen by-election
The Conservatives have beaten Labour in a Cardiff Council by-election three weeks before the General Election.
Conservative candidate Siân-Elin Melbourne has been elected in Llanishen in a vote that was triggered when former Labour councillor Phil Bale announced he was standing down.
There are already three Conservative councillors in that ward; Shaun Jenkins, John Lancaster and Thomas Parkhill. The result means the Conservatives now hold all four seats in the Llanishen ward.
Major crash shuts key Flintshire route
A serious crash has shut a stretch of road in Flintshire.
Police have shut Holywell Road in Ewloe the petrol station just off the A494 and the Northop Hall roundabout, close to the A55.
Drivers are urged to avoid the area.
NorthWalesLive said the road has now been closed for around 12 hours and remains so this morning.
Crash blocks road in Ceredigion
A road in Ceredigion is partially blocked due to a crash.
The single vehicle crash is blocking the A487 in both directions.
Traffic between Aberystwyth and Machynlleth is affected.
Recovery has been requested and is waiting for arrival.
