German Minister of Foreign Affairs Heiko Maas is against unilateral removal of nuclear weapons from Germany and says if they are to disappear, then they should disappear everywhere. This is what the foreign minister said in the Japanese city of Hiroshima.

"It's no use if nuclear weapons are just moved from one country to another. If they are to disappear then they should disappear everywhere", he said, adding the following: "As far as nuclear disarmament is concerned, we need agreements on a broad basis, not only in individual countries."
