Two held for consuming liquor in Muzaffarpur

MUZAFFARPUR: A police team formed by DSP Ran Narayan Paswan which had gone to Chankyapuri locality under the Ahiapur police station area late on Sunday evening to arrest the two youths who had hit the headlines after a video grab showing them brandishing guns went viral on social media last week, was taken aback after they found the parents of the youths drunk.
"The raid was conducted at Vinod's house in search of the youths who were seen dancing and brandishing firearms in a video.
There we found Vinod Kumar and father of another youth Dinesh Yadav, completely drunk. They were arrested immediately and sent for medical examination at Muzaffarpur sadar hospital which confirmed that the duo in their mid fifties, had consumed alcohol. Both of them have been remanded to judicial custody after producing them before the court of the chief judicial magistrate," the DSP added. Meanwhile, Ahiapur police station SHO Vikas Kumar said investigations are on in the case related to the viral video. "We have registered an FIR against the four youths after identifying them on the basis of a video garb which went viral on social media. The video was shot on November 28 during the marriage of Vinod's daughter. One of the youth is his son, while another has been identified as Vinod's close relative.
