UP: Dalit teen gang-raped in Kasganj

AGRA: A 17-year-old Dalit teenager was gang-raped allegedly by four youths in Kasganj district on Sunday night.
According to a complaint lodged by the survivor's father, the girl had gone out at night when the youths accosted and raped her. Based on the complaint, police have registered a case against four youths under section 376D (gang rape) of IPC and the relevant sections of Pocso and SC/ST Acts.The girl was later rushed to the district hospital for medical examination.
The girl's father said, "We had gone to attend a wedding when four youths abducted my daughter while she was heading to the field. They took her to a secluded area where they raped her. Bleeding profusely, she walked home and narrated the ordeal before collapsing in my arms. I made a distress call to the police immediately and rushed her to a hospital."
