Maharashtra Police Recruitment 2020: Application invited for 1847 Constable posts

Maharashtra Police Recruitment Department has invited applications for the posts of District and Railway Police Constable Driver and Armed Police Constable in the Home Department. The process of application has started on December 2, 2019, at 7.00 pm. The candidates who are interested in checking out the notification from the official website - mahapariksha.gov.in.
Fees
The application fees for the above recruitment can be paid online through debit card, credit card, net banking or BHIM UPI.The online application fee amount is Rs 450 for the Open Category and Rs 350 for the Reserved Category.
Important dates
As stated above, the applications have already started at 7 pm on December 2, 2019. The last date to apply for the process is December 22, 2019, till midnight.
Vacancy details
For the posts of District Police Constable Driver and Railway Police Constable Driver, there is a total of 1019 vacancies while for the post of SRPF Armed Police Constable, there are 828 vacancies.
Eligibility Criteria
Age
For the post of Police Constable Driver, the applicant should be 19 to 28 years old while for the post of SRPF Armed Police Constable, the applicant has to be between the age of 18 to 25 years. There is general age relaxation as per the government rules that candidates can check in the official notification.
Educational Qualification
The candidate should have passed Class 12th from a recognized board.
