Former Coronation Street actress Lucy-Jo Hudson has revealed her one and only pregnancy craving - but her partner isn't best pleased.

The soap star, 37, and Lewis Devine, 30, who is also an actor, are expecting their first child together in the new year.

While Lucy-Jo is currently seven months pregnant, it's natural for soon-to-be mums to crave all sorts of foods, and for it to be the only food they really want to eat.

Speaking in an interview with OK Online , the Hollyoaks actress disclosed that she had been 'living at the chippy for the first six-months of her pregnancy'.

She said: "The only thing I’ve really craved is chip butties.

"We’ve lived at the chippy for the first six months of my pregnancy, which has killed Lew because he loves cooking but he’s had to eat chip butties with me the whole time."

Lucy-Jo also went on confirm the sex of the baby, with the couple expecting a boy to join their family in early 2020.

The actress, who plays Donna-Marie Quinn in the Channel 4 soap, already co-parents six-year-old daughter, Sienna-Rae, with her ex-husband Alan Halsall - also from Coronation Street.

The Corrie stars split last year but co-parent their daughter

Lucy-Jo met Alan, who is now dating co-star Tisha Merry, on the cobbles of the Corrie set in 2002, but they split last year.

She has previously opened up about co-parenting to her Instagram followers , where in the summer she uploaded a selfie of her kissing Sienna before her little girl went off on holiday with her dad.

In the interview with OK, she said: "Co-parenting has its challenges and it can be difficult with everyone’s schedules but you make it work for the child involved."

Lucy-Jo met partner Lewis on the pantomime set of Snow White And The Seven Dwarves in 2017, and started dating a year later following her separation with Alan.

The mum announced the news of her pregnancy to Instagram in August.
