NFL Power Rankings for Week 14: Titans jump, Patriots dive

Week 14 provided a little bit of everything, even some nostalgia for local fans from Eli Manning — in the first half, anyway — on Monday night.

Three of the league’s five 10-2 teams lost on Sunday, most notably the Patriots, who continue to tumble in The Post’s weekly NFL power rankings.

The Titans also finally have caught the Texans in the AFC South and have cracked the Top 10. If you remember, “Titans” haven’t been on a roll like this since Sunshine replaced an injured Rev at quarterback.

1. Baltimore Ravens, 11-2 (Last week: 1): The Ravens have shown the past two weeks they can grind out playoff-style wins with tight takedowns of defensive-minded San Francisco and Buffalo to extend their winning streak to nine. MVP frontrunner Lamar Jackson is 22 yards away from Michael Vick’s single-season record (1,039) for rushing yards by a quarterback entering Thursday’s game against the Jets.

2. San Francisco 49ers, 11-2 (2): Jimmy Garoppolo and the Niners offense stepped up when their defense got torched for the first time this season in Sunday’s shootout win over New Orleans. San Francisco is back in the top spot in the NFC with games against the Falcons and the Rams the next two weeks before facing Seattle — likely for the NFC West title — in the regular-season finale.

3. New Orleans Saints, 10-3 (5): Sunday’s wild one against the 49ers was so much fun the Saints move up two slots despite losing that game, especially with Seattle and New England also falling. New Orleans already has clinched the NFC South, but still needs more wins to sew up a first-round bye, beginning Monday night against Indianapolis.

4. Seattle Seahawks, 10-3 (3): Russell Wilson couldn’t pull off the Sunday night comeback against the Rams, dropping the Seahawks from the No. 1 spot in the NFC back to a wild-card position with games against out-of-it Carolina and Arizona the next two weeks before a 49ers showdown in Week 17.

5. Green Bay Packers, 10-3 (6): The Packers seem to be alternating between relying on Aaron Rodgers and the passing attack one week and Aaron Jones and the running game the next, but that formula has them one game ahead of Minnesota in the NFC North with divisional games remaining against the Bears, Vikings and Lions.

6. Kansas City Chiefs, 9-4 (8): The Chiefs got their equipment delivery in time for their improving D to lay some serious shoulder pads on Tom Brady and the Patriots in winning the rematch of last year’s AFC Championship game. Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs are fully back in play in the conference with wins this season over Baltimore and New England and games remaining against the Broncos, Bears and Chargers.

7. New England Patriots, 10-3 (4): Still not ready to breathlessly count out the defending champs just yet, but stories about hometown boos, Brady’s balky elbow and new cheating allegations sure have made for a fun couple of days of reading about Bill Belichick’s team. The Pats’ have a get-well game against 1-12 Cincinnati this Sunday, but the Bills could get a crack at tying for the AFC East lead in Week 16.

8. Minnesota Vikings, 9-4 (7): Sunday’s 20-7 win against Detroit wasn’t pretty, but it didn’t need to be as the Vikings’ defense held the David Blough-led Lions to 231 total yards. They can’t look past the Chargers this week with playoff-deciding games against Green Bay and Chicago to follow.

9. Buffalo Bills, 9-4 (9): The Bills’ third-ranked defense kept them in Sunday’s game against the Ravens until the end, but they can’t fall short against the red-hot Steelers, winners of seven of eight, on the road Sunday night ahead of an AFC East battle with New England the following week.

10. Tennessee Titans, 8-5 (11): The surging Titans stunningly have won six of seven since the quarterback change from Marcus Mariota to Dolphins castoff Ryan Tannehill, who leads the league with a 118.5 passer rating and 9.8 yards per attempt. They have moved into a first-place tie with Houston atop the AFC South, but they face the Texans twice in the last three weeks with a tough game against New Orleans in between.

11. Los Angeles Rams, 8-5 (13)

12. Pittsburgh Steelers, 8-5 (12)

13. Houston Texans, 8-5 (10)

14. Chicago Bears, 7-6 (17)

15. Dallas Cowboys, 6-7 (14)

16. Philadelphia Eagles, 6-7 (19)

17. Cleveland Browns, 6-7 (18)

18. Indianapolis Colts, 6-7 (15)

19. Oakland Raiders, 6-7 (16)

20. Tampa Bay Buccaneers 6-7 (21)

21. Carolina Panthers, 5-8 (20)

22. Denver Broncos, 5-8 (23)

23. Los Angeles Chargers, 5-8 (24)

24. Jets, 5-8 (25): Yes, they bounced back from the Cincinnati debacle and won Sunday, their fourth in five games. Then came The Post exclusive that Le’Veon Bell spent Saturday night bowling before sitting out the game with the flu. Can’t make it up.

25. Jacksonville Jaguars, 4-9 (22)

26. Arizona Cardinals, 3-9-1 (27)

27. Detroit Lions, 3-9-1 (26)

28. Atlanta Falcons, 3-10 (28)

29. Miami Dolphins, 3-10 (29)

30. Washington Redskins, 3-10 (30)

31. Giants, 2-11 (31): As good as Eli Manning was in the first half of his deserved farewell tour Monday night against the Eagles, he was invisible after intermission as Carson Wentz and the Eagles came back from 17-3 down to win in overtime. Also, Dave Gettleman hasn’t done much right, but fifth-round find Darius Slayton looks like a keeper.

32. Cincinnati Bengals, 1-12 (32)
