Mulled wine is as part and parcel of Christmas as pigs in blankets and if you're partial to the famous seasonal tipple you can eat, drink and be merry to your heart's content in Newcastle from this weekend.
And that's because one of the city's many restaurants is about to launch a bottomless mulled wine brunch! We kid you not, the drink that many people would happily drink gallons of throughout December, is being made available as an unlimited drink option at Quayside haunt Prima from Saturday, December 14.
The Side restaurant is no stranger to a bottomless brunch, with its prosecco option proving very popular over the past few years but now things are taking a distinctly festive turn.
To ensure your stomach is sufficiently lined when you sip on plenty of mulled wine, the Christmas bottomless brunch offering also gets you an antipasto dish and a pizza or pasta main.
The two-hour brunch costs £25 per person and the prosecco option is still available if you want to fizz up your festive season. Or if you're partial to a drop of mothers' ruin, bottomless gin is also available as your drink for an added £15. To book up ring 0191 233 1011.
