One person was killed and four others injured in a crash Wednesday night on U.S. 95 in Nye County, according to the Nevada Highway Patrol.
Two victims were in critical condition while the other two suffered serious injuries, the patrol said.
The crash was reported shortly before 5 p.m. about 100 miles northwest of Las Vegas in Amargosa Valley, patrol logs show.
Traffic was being directed around the scene, the patrol said. The Nye County Sheriff's Office said it also responded to the wreck.
