A cinema with sofas and armchairs where you get food and drink delivered to your seat is opening in Cardiff Bay in time for Christmas.
Everyman Cinema will open its first Welsh venue at Mermaid Quay on Monday, December 23 when it will show a selection of the latest films, including Last Christmas, Frozen 2, Star Wars : The Rise of Skywalker, Cats and Jumanji: The Next Level.
The boutique chain of independent cinemas has 32 venues across the UK and the Cardiff branch will have a lounge space and bar for those who fancy a drink or a bite to eat before or after a film.

With waiter service to your cinema seat - which can be cosy two-seaters, an armchair to yourself, or a three-seater for extra comfort - film fans can order pizza, hotdogs and Everyman's signature Spielburger, which is a burger named after celebrated director Steven Spielberg, of course.
Crispin Lilly, CEO of Everyman Cinemas said: “We’re so proud to finally open our first Welsh venue in the heart of Cardiff Bay.
"I know the team are all set to welcome customers over Christmas with the massive line up of films and entertainment coming up.
"But our focus is on every other detail around the films too, from fabulous customer service to our sofa seating and great food and drink menu, Everyman Cardiff will be a discerning social space for people to indulge in a night out at the cinema."
