Shounak Banerjee and Pradeep Chandra from IIT Kharagpur opted for winter internship 2019 at Leadingindia.ai, a hotspot for Artificial Intelligence (AI) mentoring at Bennett University, Greater Noida. Similarly, Lovepreet Singh from IIT Gandhinagar selected Bennett University to learn Artificial Intelligence and Data Science after receiving outstanding feedback from the previous interns.

As per ‘MARKETSANDMARKETS’ report, the artificial intelligence (AI) market is expected to reach USD 190 billion by 2025, at a CAGR of 36.62%.
Linkedin, in a recent report, mentions Artificial intelligence as one of the most sought after technical skills by businesses in the coming year. The trend is no different at Bennett University with a growing number of internship applications compared to last year. The University received approx. 450 applications for 2019 winter internships, out of which 150 students from various prestigious institutions across the country are chosen after a rigorous selection process.
In collaboration with AICTE and other international organizations, Bennett University has set up the largest Artificial Intelligence (AI) Skilling Platform in India called Leadingindia.ai. 100+ academic institutions including several IITs and NITs have joined the platform to upskill faculty and provide internship projects to 1000+ students in the areas of AI, ML etc. Many alumni interns have been selected by leading companies working in AI, Blockchain, Robotic Process Automation due to the additional skills acquired during the internship at BU.
The internships are enabled by the NVIDIA DGX V100 supercomputing facility at Bennett University and include frequent hackathons, capable mentor and continuous assessments. Empass, an AI startup has given various problem statements related to speech recognition using AI. The Computer Science Engineering (CSE) Department of the University is leading the initiative with its unique model powered by the gamification, teamwork and inclusive learning. The University offers summer and winter internship of four weeks making its mark through high-quality publications, funded research and innovative experiential teaching-learning pedagogy.
