Liam Sheedy has finalised his Tipperary management team for 2020 with former captain Eoin Kelly coming in alongside Tommy Dunne and Darragh Egan as the Premier vie for back-to-back All-Ireland SHC titles.

Kelly had been drafted in last season as a free-taking coach in the build-up to the Munster SHC but the Mullinahone clubman will have a bigger role this season as part of Sheedy's management team.

Kelly, who skippered Tipperary to the 2010 All-Ireland title during Sheedy's first reign, will be hoping that his expertise can help propel Tipp to successive Liam MacCarthy Cups, something they haven't achieved since 1964-'65.

"I have a wonderful relationship with Eoin going back many years. He brings a huge amount of experience to the management team and I am thrilled to have him on board," Sheedy said of Kelly.

In addition, much-heralded coach and former Tipp boss Eamon O'Shea will be taking up the role of Performance Director for the team with Sheedy believing that his role can mean that he is "of even greater benefit" to the panel next year.

"Eamon played a pivotal role ensuring the team was successful in 2019 and he is hugely respected within the group. His new role will give him the scope to be of even greater benefit to the panel in 2020," Sheedy said.
