Heavy rain moved through Saturday morning, and steady rain continues. The heavy rain and snow melt off has caused some minor flooding in poor drainage areas and small creeks/ rivers. The rain will taper off to scattered showers for the afternoon.
A Flash Flood Warning is in effect for coastal Rockingham County due to 2-3" of rainfall causing minor flooding. If you come across a flooded roadway do not try to drive through it.
Sunday will be windy. Gusts over 35 mph, at times, will make highs in the 30s and 40s feel much colder.
Some snowflakes are possible in the northern third of the state, with partial sunshine likely in the southern part of the state.
