Delhi Development Authority (DDA) plans to set up six socio-cultural centres in the city and the first of these is likely to come up in northwest Delhi's Rohini.

NEW DELHI: Delhi Development Authority (DDA) plans to set up six socio-cultural centres in the city and the first of these is likely to come up in northwest Delhi's Rohini.
The socio-cultural centre will come up in Sector-10 and will be a centre of performing arts, indoor and outdoor recreational activities, mall and convention centre, among others, a DDA spokesperson said.
Spread over 11.2 acres, the project will cost Rs 350 crore and is likely to be completed in three and a half years. The other five similar centres are proposed in Dwarka's Sector-11 (10 acres), Vasant Kunj (11.2 acres), Shahdara's Central Business District (1.5 acres), Netaji Subhash Place (1.5 acres) and Mayur Vihar (two acres).
