Jordan Pickford 7

Stayed on his line when Daniel James raced through to the displeasure of Lucas Digne. Fantastic save from Marcus Rashford's first-half free-kick and again from Luke Shaw in the second. Seemed to be unsighted for the equaliser.

Seamus Coleman 7

Djibril Sidibe has been a real weapon in recent weeks but the Irishman did not put a foot wrong. A crucial interception in the second-half was testament to his alertness after a spell out of the side.

Yerry Mina 7

A crucial interception on the stroke of half-time ensured Everton kept their lead and he was a cool customer when things got tetchy. Unfortunate to see Mason Greenwood's effort fired through his legs.

Michael Keane 7

Dependable and perhaps somewhere towards his form of last season. Looks much better when doing the simple things and wasn't afraid to put it long when required.

Lucas Digne 6

Had the unenviable task of marking the rapid Daniel James and was solid until he become the latest star to succumb to injury. Replaced by Leighton Baines.

Mason Holgate 8

Started, unusually, in a central midfield role but did not look out of place. Stayed close to Tom Davies and was the calmest man in possession for both sides. Positioning spot on. A performance to remember for the 23-year-old.

Victor Lindelof's own goal gave Everton the lead at Manchester United this afternoon

Tom Davies 7

Booked for a strong challenge on Scott McTominay and walked a disciplinary tightrope for most of the game. Worked well with Holgate and was largely tidy on the ball. His presence belies his age and he played on after appearing to pull up at one stage.

Alex Iwobi 6

Put in a beautiful delivery that almost supplied Richarlison and then again for Dominic Calvert-Lewin. Had a strong spell before fading in the second-half.

Bernard 6

Was not involved offensively as much as he might have liked but put in a tireless shift. Eventually substituted for Moise Kean.

Richarlison 7

Hassling, physical and constantly wanting to get on the front-foot. Worked well alongside Dominic Calvert-Lewin and continued to work hard when moved out wide for the final stages. Fast becoming Everton's most reliable player.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin 8

Pressured David De Gea into missing his punch for the opening goal and led the line superbly. His progression in recent weeks is remarkable. A performance befitting of the Everton number nine shirt.

Leighton Baines (on for Digne, 24) 7

Faultless. The decision to hand him a new deal looked a master-stroke at Old Trafford. He looked like he hadn't been away.

Moise Kean (on for Bernard, 70) 6

Almost made an instant impact helping Everton break from a corner. Played up-front alongside Calvert-Lewin. Was then hooked 18 minutes after coming on.

Oumar Niasse (on for Kean, 88) N/A

A bizarre change taking off Kean but Niasse almost robbed Lindelof of possession with a minute remaining.
