The Europa League Group Stages are done and dusted and Wolverhampton Wanderers can now turn their attention to today’s draw in Nyon.

Wolves signed off with a thumping 4-0 victory over Besiktas at Molineux as Diogo Jota scored a stunning hat-trick.

Unfortunately for Nuno Espirito Santo and his side, Braga's 4-2 victory over Slovan Bratislava in Slovakia means they top the group.

Wolves will discover their last-32 opponents at 12pm on Monday when the draw takes place - but who can they face?

Champions League drop-outs

The eight teams who finished third in their respective Champions League group have now dropped into the Europa League.

They are split into two groups of four based on UEFA’s points tally with half seeded and the other half unseeded.

As Wolves finished second in Group K, they are unseeded in Monday’s draw and can therefore be drawn against the following teams:

Ajax, Red Bull Salzburg, Inter Milan, Benfica

    Europa League group winners

Aside from Group K winner Braga and domestic rivals Manchester United and Arsenal, Wolves can draw every other team who topped their respective group.

Wolves could be involved in an all British tie after Celtic topped their group, while Nuno faces the possibility of returning to former club Porto.

Sevilla, Malmo, Basel, LASK, Celtic, Porto, Espanyol, Gent, Istanbul Basaksehir

    How does the draw work?

    • The seeded teams play at home in the second legs.
    • No team can play a club from their UEFA Europa League group or a side from the same national association.
    • Due to the city clash between Porto and Braga, one of the two return-leg matches will be played on a Wednesday. Porto have priority, having finished in a higher position in their domestic championship, so Braga will play their return leg at home on Wednesday 26 February 2020, at 18:00 CET, irrespective of their opponents.

    When do ties take place?

The first legs are scheduled for Thursday 20 February, with the second legs on 27 February. Kick-off times are split between 18:55 CET and 21:00 CET, as they were in the group stage. The round of 16 draw is on 28 February.
