Kolar is now the first Cyclone to be named to an All-American team and an Academic All-American team in the same season. His 675 receiving yards this season is also a school record by a tight end.The two-time First Team Academic All-Big 12 selection holds a cumulative 3.98 GPA in mechanical engineering. He won the team GPA Award during the 2018-19 school year with a perfect 4.0 GPA.
