Long time no see, popaholics! It’s a brand-new year, and while there aren’t pops a plenty (yet), there is zero time being wasted with introducing new pimples into your life. Case in point: Dr. Pimple Popper—your favorite show besides The Bachelor, duh—is FINALLY returning to television on Thursday!! New episodes of Dr. Pimple Popper have been absent from TLC for what feels like an entire lifetime, but it sounds like my prayers were answered—god bless. 🙏
In anticipation for tonight’s episode (which premieres at 9 p.m. ET, FYI), Dr. Sandra Lee shared a clip of perhaps one of the most bizarre bumps I have ever seen in my life...and that is saying a lot, y’all. We’ve had cherry-pit pimples, eggy steatocystomas, larger-than-life lipomas—you name it! But never have Dr. Lee’s popaholics been introduced to a person named David who is growing an extra nose. Yes, you read that correctly.
“You are a good-looking guy under there. We just got to take that nose off. That extra nose,” Dr. Lee told David in a consultation while determining his condition. Don’t believe it? Check it out for yourself, below:
“This is a condition called rhinophyma,” Dr. Lee explained to David after her assessment. “It’s a condition that is associated with rosacea. It causes an overgrowth of tissue, particularly on the nose.”
In an aside, Dr. Lee further explained David’s condition and revealed that the rhinophyma is pretty troublesome to his health. “As I examine David’s nose, I can see that the left side of his nose, the rhinophyma is more prominent and it is really obstructing his nasal canal, making it hard to breathe,” she said.
Thankfully, Dr. Lee and her team were able to rush David into surgery immediately to take care of his nose growth. But if you’re looking for every bit of that footage, you gotta tune in and catch tonight’s episode. I’m sorry, I don’t make the rules!
