A man, identified by police as Brandon Wade Kirby, 40, stole a pickup truck containing a sleeping passenger and a goat while it was parked in front of an adult video store in Missouri in New Years Day.

According to the arrest report, on Wednesday morning, two men in a pickup truck parked outside an adult video store in Carthage, Missouri. Officers with the Creek County Sheriff’s Department in Sand Springs and the Oklahoma Highway Patrol were on a chase and arrest of the carjacked vehicle. The arrest report said the police repeatedly tried to stop the truck, but despite flat tires, the driver keep going.

However, the Oklahoma Highway patrol performed a tactical vehicle intervention, pushing the truck into a ditch and ending the chase at highway 412, Newson6 reported. According to investigators, when the truck stopped, Kirby jumped out and ran, dropping the mask and the gun.

The police records show Kirby was recently released from prison and wanted in Osage County for a second degree burglary.

On a Facebook post, Sand Springs police department wrote “OK 2020, it only took you 4.5 hours to get weird. Let’s slow down on the carjacking-goatnapping calls for the remainder of the year.”
