UPSC ESE 2020 Prelims Paper I Analysis: General Studies & Engineering Aptitude

UPSC has successfully conducted Paper 1 (General Studies & Engineering Aptitude) of Engineering Services Exam (ESE) 2020 on 5^th Jan from 10 AM-12 PM. ESE is one of toughest exam for engineering graduates aiming to secure job in various Ministries and Departments Railways, Telecom, Indian Skill Development, IDSE, MES etc. Unlike/Like this year, prelims exam was easy/harder and candidates were tested with their knowledge of the subjects.

Highlights of ESE 2020 Prelims Paper 1

Overall Level of the exam was Easy to moderate and was easier as compared to 2019 Prelims exam.
Questions from Engineering Mathematics, Material Science increased compared to previous years.
Standard Quality and Importance of Safety were the most asked topic in ESE prelims exam 2020.
70-80 marks would be considered to be a good attempt in ESE Prelims Paper 1.
