UPSC ESE 2020 Prelims Paper I Analysis: General Studies & Engineering Aptitude
UPSC has successfully conducted Paper 1 (General Studies & Engineering Aptitude) of Engineering Services Exam (ESE) 2020 on 5th Jan from 10 AM-12 PM. ESE is one of toughest exam for engineering graduates aiming to secure job in various Ministries and Departments Railways, Telecom, Indian Skill Development, IDSE, MES etc. Unlike/Like this year, prelims exam was easy/harder and candidates were tested with their knowledge of the subjects.
Highlights of ESE 2020 Prelims Paper 1

  • Overall Level of the exam was Easy to moderate and was easier as compared to 2019 Prelims exam.
  • Questions from Engineering Mathematics, Material Science increased compared to previous years.
  • Standard Quality and Importance of Safety were the most asked topic in ESE prelims exam 2020.
  • 70-80 marks would be considered to be a good attempt in ESE Prelims Paper 1.
