Share market update: Agriculture stocks down; Godrej Agrovet loses 2%

NEW DELHI: Agriculture stocks were trading on a negative note in Friday's afternoon session.

Shares of Godrej Agrovet (down 1.98 per cent), Kaveri Seed Company (down 1.61 per cent), AgriTech (India) Ltd (down 1.34 per cent), SKM Egg Products Export (India) (down 1.24 per cent), JK Agri Genetics Ltd (down 1.21 per cent), Neha International (down 0.94 per cent), Simran Farms (down 0.72 per cent) and Venky (India) (down 0.51 per cent) were among the top losers.

While Ocean Agro (India) (up 4.98 per cent), Karuturi Global (up 3.13 per cent), Trescon (up 2.19 per cent), White Organic Agro (up 1.14 per cent), Hester Biosciences (up 0.83 per cent), Advanced Enzyme Technologies (up 0.56 per cent), Raghuvansh Agrofarms (up 0.48 per cent) and KSE Ltd (up 0.40 per cent) were among the top gainers.

The NSE Nifty-50 index was trading 26.70 points up at 12242.6, while the 30 shares BSE Sensex was up 94.53 points at 41546.88 at around 02:43 pm.
