LUCKNOW: Transport department in its inquiry report into the
bus accident that took place at GT road in
Kannauj on Friday night has put 'fog' as the main reason. The report said 'it is an unintended accident due to fog'.
It was a double-decker bus that collided with the
truck at NH-91 on Friday at around 8.15pm leaving atleast 10 people charred to death and 23 others injured.
"It is an extremely narrow road, only about 10 metres broad," said the report.
The
Ghiloy bazaar area where the accident took place witnesses heavy movement of traffic all through. It was the
dense fog that had reduced visibility by several metres and both the drivers of the bus and the truck probably could not see the white line that divides the road and separates the traffic from the two sides.
