Bollywood actress
Deepika Padukone is currently busy promoting her recently released film ‘
Chhapaak’. The actress made it to the headlines for several reasons in the last few days. Recently, Deepika visited the Jawarharlal Nehru University as she stood in solidarity with the students there.
Soon after her appearance in JNU amidst the current scenario, Deepika started receiving a lot of backlash on social media and from several political leaders.
Many even cancelled the tickets of her film ‘Chhapaak’ and boycotted her film.
After all this, now Baba Ramdev, the yoga guru, has also spoken about her visit to JNU. According to the reports, he said that Deepika should take advice from him. He even asked the actress to improve her ‘political and social understanding’.
Baba Ramdev further also added how she needs an adviser like him.
Earlier,
Maharashtra BJP leader
Ashish Shelar said that Deepika should not try to act like warrior Mastani because ‘she does not have a real-life director behind her’.
Deepika’s film ‘Chhapaak’ has definitely been affected by this. The box office collections are not so great for a film like this. Earlier,
Shiv Sena leader
Sanjay Raut came out in support of the actress and said that it is wrong to boycott her film. He said, “The demand for boycott of the actress and her film is wrong. The country cannot be run in a 'Talibani' style.”
