Deepika Padukone’s JNU visit: Yoga guru Ramdev asks her to improve ‘political understanding’

Indian yoga guru Baba Ramdev has reacted on Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone’s visit to Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU).

The Padmavaat actress received ample backlash after she expressed solidarity with the protesters. 

Talking to reporters in Indore, Ramdev said Deepika should take advice from people like him, adding that she should improve her ‘political and social understanding’ before taking big decisions.

Deepika, who is currently busy promoting her recently released film Chhapaak visited JNU to express solidarity with the protesting students.

She had been criticized for her move and many even had cancelled the tickets of her film and called for boycott.

The yoga guru said Deepika needed an advisor like him.

Ramdev also strongly supported the new Indian citizenship act.
