Police have appealed for information after a woman was discovered with a serious head injury in Wrexham.
The woman was found on Monday at approximately 5pm outside the Plas Madoc leisure centre in the town .
The 44-year-old woman was said by police to have a "significant head injury" when she was found.
An appeal on North Wales Police's Twitter account asked anyone with information to get in touch by calling the police on 101.
The force wrote on Twitter: "We are appealing for witnesses.

"At approximately 1700 on the 13th of January, a 44-year-old female was found outside the Plas Madoc leisure centre in Wrexham with a significant head injury.
"We are appealing for anyone who may have any information to contact 101, reference Y005945."
