Two killed in a road accident in Nagpur

Two persons were killed while 10 others were injured after a tipper dashed a Bolero jeep at Mhalginagar chowk on Tuesday.

NAGPUR: Two persons were killed while 10 others were injured after a tipper dashed a Bolero jeep at Mhalginagar chowk on Tuesday.
The persons died were identified as Rahul Vanjari and Beherulal Gaud (Vanjari), both aged 25 years, while Jagdish Vanjara (24) is fighting for life at Trauma care centre of Government medical college and hospital (GMCH). The victims, native of Madhya Pradesh, were utensil vendors.
Around 14 persons were heading to Dighori in a hired four-wheeler when the ill-fated vehicle was hit by the truck.
The killer truck, laden with Murum and loose earth, was moving towards Hudkeshwar road. The tail end of the Bolero jeep was being hit after which it rammed into the divider after skidding.
The injured were being taken to the GMCH but two were declared dead. Till going to the press, Sakkardara police were in the process of registering an offence. Senior PI of Sakkardara Ajit Sid said police were trying to ascertain the ownership of the killer truck.
