CSBC Bihar Police Constable exam 2020 postponed, new dates soon

NEW DELHI: Central Selection Board of Constable (CSBC) postponed the Bihar Police constable recruitment exam (advt no.02/19) on Wednesday.
The Bihar Police constable examination was scheduled to be held on Monday, January 20, 2020.
Around 6 lakh candidates are expected to appear in both the shifts for the examination on January 20. The CSBC has not given any reason for the postponement of the examination.
Also, the CSBC has not yet announced new date for the examination. Therefore, the candidates are advised to keep checking the official website for updates.

Meanwhile, on January 7, 2020, the CSBC had released the roll number wise exam centre for written examination. According to the list, around 900 exam centres have been allotted for the exam out of which 74 centres are in Patna.

Earlier in Muzaffarpur, on Sunday, January 12, 2020, a candidate was caught for cheating during Bihar Police examination.
The candidate who had taped earphones to his vest to cheat during Bihar Police Examination was caught by the authorities and was later handed over to the police.
The man who hails from Patna was caught after the earphones got stuck in his one ear and he complained of ache.
New agency ANI quoted, Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) of Police Mithanpura, Nisar Ahmed, "We received information that a candidate has been caught with a device in his ear during the written examination. He had complained of earache, and has been admitted to hospital."
An FIR has been registered in the case.
