Seven-year-old girl assaulted by neighbour in Rohini

NEW DELHI: A seven year old girl was allegedly sexually assaulted by her neighbour in Rithala village of Rohini. A case was registered for rape and under Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) at Budh Vihar police station and the accused was arrested from his house.
Police received a call on Wednesday morning that a minor had been raped in the area.A team reached the residence of the girl and noted down her statement. A medical examination of the girl was also conducted. The accused worked as a security guard with a firm and was posted at INA market.
Officers said that the incident took place on January 10, when the girl was playing outside her residence and the accused lured her to his house.
