Kangana Ranaut has THIS to say about Deepika Padukone’s JNU visit

Deepika Padukone’s visit to Jawaharlal Nehru University to stand in solidarity with the students caused quite a stir. While a few Bollywood celebrities lauded Deepika’s move, Kangana Ranaut refrained from commenting on the same. In an interview with a news portal Kangana stated that Deepika is excercising her democratic rights. The ‘Tanu Weds Manu’ actress stated that she definitely wouldn’t support anyone who divides this nation and added that she knows what she wants but would not comment on what Deepika should have done.

Earlier, Kangana Ranaut was all praise for Deepika Padukone for her latest release ‘Chhapaak’, which is based on acid attack. Kangana had lauded Deepika and director Meghna Gulzar for making a film on a sensitive subject like this. Kangana’s sister Rangoli Chandel was a survivor and she too lauded Deepika for the film.
On the work front, Kangana will soon be seen in Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari directed ‘Panga’. The film traces the journey of a woman who decides to make a comeback as a professional kabaddi player. ‘Panga’ is slated to hit theatres on January 24.
